Education: Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Whittier College, Master of Arts in Sacred Theology (in progress) at St Joseph's College of Maine
Why teaching? Through much prayer and the grace of God, it became clear to me that I am called to teach. It is a calling to which I have responded little by little over time and has ultimately led to teaching at St. Pius X Classical Academy. I sincerely look forward to serving the needs of each student along with their families.
Why St. Pius X? I recognize SPX as a unique and focused environment - one that offers individual attention to each and every student. As a passionate Catholic convert, the emphasis on faith formation at SPX is something I also care deeply about. St. Pius X Classical Academy is a truly special place, and this was apparent to me from the moment I entered the school.
What do you do in your spare time? I enjoy traveling with my lovely wife of eight years, Emily. We love walking our fluffy and grumpy dog Charlie. I also enjoy playing guitar, cooking, finding a good taco truck, and learning/growing in the Catholic Faith.
Fun fact: I once performed at Nashville's Live on the Green Music Festival and even jumped off the stage for good measure. I am also an Eagle Scout.
Favorite Bible verse: Jeremiah 1:5 - "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appoint you a prophet to the nations."
