Admissions

Application forms must be completed and returned to the school with a $150 non-refundable application fee. Visit day and appointments cannot be scheduled until the application has been processed by the school office. When turning in applications parents should bring with them the following items:

• Most recent report card and standardized test scores( if transferring from another school)
• Immunization records
• A copy of your child's Birth Certificate
• Catholic applicants should also include a copy of their child's Baptism Certificate

Pre K3, Pre K4  & Kindergarten
The State of Tennessee requires that Pre-K3 applicants be 3 years old by Aug. 15th, Pre-K4 applicants be 4 years old by Aug. 15th, and Kindergarten applicants be 5 years old by Aug. 15th of the school year as verified by a birth certificate.  Upon determination of age, applicants are required to schedule a half-day visit to St. Pius X on a school day. During the visit, they will join regular classes and will also be given a short entrance test to determine their readiness level. Once test scores have been assessed, you will be contacted to set up an appointment with the principal to discuss test results.

Grades 1-8

Step 2: After receiving application information written notification of acceptance will be sent to the applicant inviting students to join regular classes and experience the St. Pius X community.  During the day students will be given a standardized test for their grade level.

Step 3: During the week following testing, parents of applicants are required to schedule and interview with the principal to review assessment results.  The subsidy review committee determines the tuition rate (subsidized or unsubsidized). Tuition payments are July 1 through May 1.  All payments should be made electronically through our FACTS tuition program.
